Hi There,

Just wanted to let you know that I have appreciated your insight over the years and my Wife and I just purchased our first investment property. Thanks for the encouragement.

It is a single family home 3bd/2ba and also has 1bd/1ba apartment above a detached garage. On paper it seems good to me – now its just a matter of time to find the right tenants. I am trying to use the Zillow Rental Manager for everything although I have noticed that with the Zillow application some people are verifying income where as others get away with self-reporting and I have to put in extra effort to get to clarity on there actual income (seems like alot of people don’t have regular income – I guess it’s the “Gig” economy . Let me know if you have any tips or if you suggest developing our own custom application process or anything like that.
