The rulers of this planet don’t seem to be confident in the outcome. I strongly suspect that whatever they’re telling us for public consumption is not what they know.
This collective oligarchy seems to be building out the technology at a feverish pace that would essentially replace much of what humans do already.
This same oligarchy has been increasingly relying on the finances of the governments to help fund their operations for some time and it seems that they don’t even care much of the ramifications of their current consumption and expenditures on the future requirements of the financial markets. Whatever event or catalyst is coming will most likely upend the entire world order and way of life for us, so bankrupting the governments is no longer a long-term concern for them.
The timeline is compressing rapidly and whatever catalyst lies ahead will be devastating to most people inhabiting this planet.
In the meantime, the central banks, spearheaded by the Federal Reserve, will act as guarantor on just about everything until that day. Thus, everything will be held together until then, for there will be nothing gained by crashing the markets; it would only delay the timeline and time seems to be in shorter supply.

Tampa approves $2.3B deal for a new Rays ballpark
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) – City officials on Thursday approved a $2.3 billion deal for a new Tampa Bay Rays ballpark funded by public and private money.
The 4-3 vote by the Tampa City Council came three months after a tentative agreement was reached for a stadium, which would include $967 million in tax money.
Rays Chief Executive Officer Ken Babby said in a statement that the stadium project will “deliver lasting benefits” for the region.
“The Tampa Bay Rays are grateful for the leadership and support of the City Council members to approve an investment that, when accompanied by the private funding guaranteed by the Rays, will secure the future of Major League Baseball in Tampa Bay while creating a landmark destination neighborhood that will serve our region for generations,” Babby said Thursday.
Hillsborough County Commissioners will vote on the project Friday morning.
The Rays ownership reached an agreement earlier this year with Hillsborough College to build the stadium and mixed-use entertainment district on the campus and to renovate some of the school’s buildings. The property is located next to the New York Yankees’ spring training facility and across a highway from Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Rays have said they hope to have the new stadium built within three years.
Since the team took the field in 1998, the Rays have played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, except for moving home games to the Yankees’ George M. Steinbrenner Field in 2025 following hurricane damage at the Trop. The Rays’ lease runs through at least the 2028 season. The team returned to the Trop last month for the start of this season.
A proposed $1.3 billion redevelopment deal for a new ballpark adjacent to the Trop fell through last year, raising new questions about the future of the team, which was bought last September by Patrick Zalupski’s ownership group.

If it hit the ocean the tsunami would be small because it’s a point source. It would destroy a city if it hit one. It’s interesting to speculate on what it means, but the asteroid itself isn’t world ending at all according to these calculations.
Any goverment preparation measures would likely be 100x as catastrophic, so that’s the real worry here I suppose, if we need to worry at all. It will be interesting to see what they are able to make of it. It is predicted to fly within the orbit of geostationary satellites, so they might try some space stuff.

Intermediate term outlook for Bitcoin became more bullish after MSTR threw in the proverbial towel and began selling at the lower points. Only after Saylor exits can we begin to find a meaningful bottom. MSTR transforming into a holding company and the bullish scenario for holding its stock went away. This is what’s needed and the price is bounced off here.
Cycle still in tact but for traders that don’t like to hold long, if it broke 59 the next support level was in the 30k range. Surprised it didn’t go that low they still could have pumped it back up.
