Regardless, guns are a good idea. I’m a big fan of the old J frame smith and wessons – very simple manual of arms. They would make great barter or stocking stuffers – beater examples of these guns go for as little as $180 at gun shows. For the zombie apocalypse which I don’t believe will ever arrive (or it already did and just looks different from what we expected) I like the ps90. Compact, 50 flat shooting rounds, and like the J frames women and children can easily handle them.
