A snapshot of Maryland’s finances; Multiculturalism doesn’t work

Let this be a multicultural warning to my readers. This is regarding the State of Maryland and the rapid rate of its fiscal decay.

Former Maryland Governor, Larry Hogan, presided over a booming Maryland economy

2023 budget SURPLUS, +$5 billion

Former Maryland Governor, Larry Hogan, presided over a booming Maryland economy in which the State’s fiscal budget surplus amounted to $5 billion in 2023

Current Maryland Governor, Wes Moore, is presiding over a rapidly deteriorating fiscal picture and blames his political opposition.

2025 budget DEFICIT, -$3.1 billion

Current Maryland Governor, Wes Moore, is now presiding over a rapidly deteriorating statewide fiscal picture. Governor Moore has specifically blamed the Trump regime for Maryland’s current fiscal woes, though Trump has only been in since January.

During his last speech to the state legislatures, Governor Moore has promised a slew of new tax initiatives, specifically targeting businesses and wealthier individuals.

A leopard can’t change its spots. Watch as big business and government jobs continue to flee Maryland and relocate across the Potomac into Virginia, which was recently rated the #1 state in the country for business by CNBC.

Virginia Governor, Glenn Youngkin, helps steer Virginia’s booming economy and oversees the #1 state for conducting business

In reference to the garbage dump we refer to as the State of Maryland, the extremely progressive and black controlled Senate and House chambers have presented a number of woke bills, including one regarding slave reparations that Governor Moore intends to sign into law.

This race issue was not a problem in Maryland until about 2020 and onward. DEI and progressive multiculturalism is a curse on America and its future.

I think the current circumstances regarding the rapid degradation of Maryland’s finances speak for themselves. Maryland obsesses about Black culture and as a 25-year property manager of properties in Maryland and Prince George’s County, I can tell you that it is a horrible state in which to conduct business and be a landlord. This is especially true for white people.

Wherever the blacks govern, misery, victimhood, bankruptcy, and woe follow.

  1. FYI… I dumped most of my HTZ today. I sold half around 9.15. a little at 9. I bought back some of the shares just before close at 8.65. Then I sold off most again at 8.50 after close. Bloomberg wrote an article after close indicating HTZ may try to raise $500mm in either debt or stock.

Hmmm…. Not a deal breaker, but maybe a short term hiccup. I’ll take my profit and run. 🏃🏃🏃

    1. Congrats on your profits. I knew an offering was on the way, they would be fools if they didn’t take advantage of the runup.

  2. The catalysts surrounding the upcoming force majeure ( i.e. WWIII or Jacob’s trouble) are coming together remarkably well and quickly.

The war will be fought by the vast population of the planet that have succumbed to Marxist ideologies versus the lost sheep of the House of Israel. These lost sheep are descended from Jacob and primarily are from the European Caucasians. The entire world will be against these people. There is only a small remnant of these Israelites who have not succumbed to the socialist and Marxist worldviews set up by the descendants of Cain and Esau, the synagogue of Satan Jews.

By default, it seems that all people of color around the world are not included in this remnant. They are too contaminated and their genetics preclude them understanding the truth and the hour of the time.

When it comes, it will come swiftly and The Universal Church will not help you. Neither will the wicked Orthodox and Protestant organized churches provide any answers.

    1. I agree. Events are picking up pace. The pope just checked out and now India and Pakistan are on a war path against each other. More shoes are dropping. These are leading up to something big. The price of gold has shot up leaving the other precious metals in the dust. The stock market going haywire. Trump is taking action because he knows what is coming.

      1. It’s not about apartheid. It’s about stupidity and incontinence; the black’s inability to control their frivolous spending habits.

The black middle class in South Africa is so much poorer than the white middle class.

The two separate sets of demographics have substantially similar household incomes, yet white families are about four times as wealthy as South African blacks.

This is even true when the comparison is made between young households who have not inherited any wealth. On average, younger white households are four to six times as wealthy as the black households, even though they have similar incomes and when inheritances are subtracted…..

Why the black middle class is so poor, compared to whites in South Africa

    2. Matt. 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

The word nation is ethnos so race against race. So as you said, the lost sheep vs the rest of the refuse. YHVH vs satan.

    3. To your point, Vance had this to say yesterday, We’ve issued a very explicit proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and it’s time for them to either say yes, or for the United States to walk away from this process,” Vance told reporters in India, where he is on a four-day visit.
We potentially have three powder kegs about to blow! Ukraine/Russia, Iran/ middle east, and China/ Taiwan. All three will directly effect the USA. Lets hope the dominos don’t start falling!

    4. I’ve known some very godly blacks. One of the first churches we went to when I was searching for God was an all-black church. To make us feel welcome these elderly black women came up and reached for our baby and our baby took right to her, smiling and laughing. So I don’t believe that’s accurate. There are plenty of Satans’ children in both colors. As far as I’m concerned there are only two types of people: God’s or Satan’s.

      1. They’re stupid and vote for Communism at every turn. They may be saved, but they are not remnant, according to the Bible.

And take my word for this, what they say behind the white man’s back is different than what they say to their faces. I know. They are more easily brainwashed and parted with their money and blame others for their problems.

Then we’re made to feel guilty for knowing better. I am better off staying with my kind.

        1. I’ll defer to God. I just know that you’re either in God’s Kingdom or Satan’s. I just dealt with a corrupt white sibling who is a big Mahaf in her church who is the most evil person that I know. I’d rather live next to a godly black than an ungodly, fake christian white.

I do believe that it’s a dangerous time for whites due to all the garbage coming from the TV. I think that we need to pray for protection because it’s planned, and it’s evil, and it is deceiving some blacks to turn against whites. We do need to be careful. My husband and I are neutral and we were at a park and a ball rolled over to my husband and he got the ball to roll back to the young black girl. She spewed hate: “Don’t you touch my ball! You’re the devil!” My husband said “I’m not the devil.” So some parents are teaching their young children to hate whites which is really sad. But we’re going to keep spreading love because most blacks that we’ve interacted with have been nice. And who knows that at some point it will change their heart.

    5. Do you think there will be fighting on American soil?

Also – the Karmelo Anthony Austin Metcalf saga might be a psyop to try to trigger a race war I read. They’ve been trying to do that for awhile apparently.

I’m honestly surprised that something hasn’t happened already with the open border and so many people flooding in. I’m surprised that Americans just take it and take it. It’s like everyone has lost their spirit and sense of community. That never would have happened in the 50’s. Now everyone is scattered. I fear for how this country will look 5 years from now. I went to the store and almost everyone was speaking another language. Someone did a video that whites will be a minority. I can’t believe it got here.

    https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2025/4/23/white-and-black-farmers-still-bear-the-scars-of-zimbabwes-land-grabs
The most amazing thing about this article is that the government of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) is offering compensation to WHITE farmers who had their lands seized by the thugs of Mugabe.
Translation – please please Mr White man make it work like it is supposed to work and did work when you ran it.
Root cause of the compensation is another positive Trump effect.https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/4/17/is-zimbabwe-wooing-donald-trump-by-paying-white-farmers-and-ending-tariffs

Another laugh. They cannot even make a supposedly gold back currency work.

    1. Same thing in South Africa. Here’s what I’m trying to comprehend, if whites made up only 4% of Zimbabwe’s (Rhodesia’s) and they were by far much more successful than the blacks, why would they stay there? It just seems very risky.

I continue to sell all my real estate in Prince George’s County, and that jurisdiction is 60% schvartze, 25% mongrel Hispanic, and only 10% White. And even though it’s bordering DC, I still feel like a Rhodesian farmer.

No normal white person will ever go back to Zimbabwe or South Africa. Both countries have become despotic communist crap holes. Of course, blacks fall for the Jewish utopian concept every time, and the Jew synagogue banks on it.

Some races aren’t as talented as others. The Caucasians were and still are always the most talented. They’re just naive.

      1. Naive and blind. The transformation is almost complete. Its not just negroes either. Now India is the 3rd largest importer of low lifes. Horrible culture and pagan as ever!
I notice more whites are absorbing hip hop culture and slang. Disgusting!

        1. That was DARPAs plan. Pollute the black community with the gamgbanger mentality and eventually it would be absorbed by the whites and Hispanics through the top down implementation of culture.

This has been going on since the late seventies and early ’80s. The blacks were chosen to lead the way, since they are the easiest to demoralize and degrade. They’re not the brightest, in other words. There is nothing grassroots about their culture. It was a skillfully engineered top-down approach and would be portrayed in the media as being cool and edgy and then the reprobate Caucasians and Hispanics would find it appealing.

The mongrelization also has been portrayed as being cool and that’s why the whites are now having children with the blacks and creating mongrel mulattos.

          1. I remember in the 90s and oughts it was a “cool” thing among white girls to date and marry black guys. That was clearly a top down meme to pollute the brightest race with mongrels and therefore downgrade all of humanity. Many white girls are stupid enough to fall for this.

        2. They’re having a terrible problem in CA with foreigners eliminating on the street. People call them “street-sh*tters.” It’s horrible what they’ve done importing all these people who we can’t support.

We were looking for an RV and this Indian guy tried scamming us. He put this beautiful RV out for sale but told us that we had to pay a sum of money for his brother to release it – something like that. I knew it was coming. They get here and can’t support themselves so they turn to crime.

            1. Yes but defecating in the street is really bad. They have public bathrooms – so why don’t they use them? That’s disgusting. I would be on the phone to my representatives.

              1. Look into the culture of India. Many in India believe it is “unclean” to use a toilet. They defecate outside or in a field. That is the way they are. They are corrupt and anti white.

  6. The current Maryland governor looks like a gangster thug. It is no wonder why the state is a mess.
Stay out of areas run by blacks. Barry & Michael Obama did the most damage to the USA in the first two years when the democrats had a trifecta. Just look at South Africa on how it declined when the blacks took over. During the era of apartheid, there was hardly any crime, the economy was great even for the blacks, the streets were clean and well maintained. Apartheid was done for a reason.
South Africa went way downhill when the blacks took over.

    1. Imagine the US without the 13% schvartze population…

It would be paradise! It would be just like the last great nation as prophesied by Jacob to Joseph. The Jew synagogue ran the slave trade and ruined it. The rest is history. The best we can do is to avoid them and the areas they populate.

  7. The USA always had abundant “rare” earth metals deposits. It was just easier to import them cheaply….

Trump’s pen can counter China on rare earth minerals

    Washington Examiner

Suddenly, 17 elements of the periodic table that we all studied in high school chemistry are in the news. Rare earth minerals are at the bottom of the periodic table. They are necessary inputs into several hundred advanced technology goods, including smartphones, computer hard drives, electric vehicles, and semiconductors. Rare earths are also components in a range of important military systems.

Rare earths are headline news because they are bargaining chips in the trade war between the United States and China. In early April, in response to President Donald Trump‘s tariffs, China restricted sales of 7 rare earths to the U.S. These restrictions caused the media to hyperventilate.

Today, China essentially controls the global supply of rare earth minerals. China supplies about 90% of the world’s rare earth minerals. The U.S. imports 74% of those Chinese rare earths. Denying access to these essential inputs into the domestic economy would arguably do great damage.

But what major news outlets are not publicizing is that rare earth minerals are not particularly rare.

The U.S. has vast, undeveloped deposits of rare earth minerals. All the U.S. needs to do to overcome China’s export restrictions is for President Trump to sign an executive order declaring a national emergency regarding access to rare earth minerals. And Trump likes executive orders.

With an executive order, the permitting process for developing rare earths could be streamlined, and the U.S. could arguably be self-sufficient in rare earth minerals in a matter of months.

Recently, the U.S. Geological Survey estimated that 2.34 billion metric tons of rare earths are located near a small town in southeastern Wyoming. The possible rare earth deposit has a volume substantially greater than China’s estimated 44 million metric tons of rare earths.

The major obstacle to developing this deposit is the permitting process. But under Section 553 of the Administrative Procedure Act of 1946, good cause exceptions can be made to the notice and comment requirements of the APA. The federal government can invoke the ‘good cause’ exception if it finds that notice and comment are impracticable, unnecessary, or contrary to the public interest. Clearly, notice and comment should not be required when national security and important economic interests are at stake.

Thus, Trump should issue an executive order that would drastically streamline the permitting process. Importantly, Trump has already stated that he will use this exception provision to repeal unlawful regulations. National security demands that the Wyoming rare earth mineral deposit be developed now — not today, not tomorrow, but now.

TRUMP’S COUNTERPRODUCTIVE WAR ON THE FEDERAL RESERVE

But the U.S. also has abundant rare earth deposits in the coal fly ash deposits of the coal fields of America. Coal fly ash is produced during the burning of coal. When coal is burned, rare earth minerals are retained and enriched in the fly ash. The U.S. has the world’s largest coal reserves. The U.S. fly ash is stored, mostly in landfills and impoundments. The USGS estimates that domestic coal fly ash contains 11 million tons of rare earth minerals. The rare earth minerals contained in fly ash can be recovered by acid leaching, where the recovery rate of rare earths approaches 80%.

Clearly, the U.S. can develop sufficient reserves of rare earth minerals and circumvent Chinese export restrictions. The President’s signature on an executive order is all that is required. He should do it now.

  8. My State’s annual financial documents don’t seem accurate, does yours? Even with a deficit claiming they can’t afford the pension system, they still always approve millions of dollars for things stating that somehow it can be paid off in the future. Oddly No matter how much debt, there is always available funds.

The Covid event provided every State and city with a Pandemic emergency funds. My town is using what remains of it to build a million dollar police department evidence building and a brewery restaurant. Surrounding towns are using theirs for stupid stuff like building parks or small theaters, and apartment complexes which will generate income and tax revenue.

When you goto your city council meetings you’ll learn there is a city fund, which is where property tax collections go, and a general fund, and other miscellaneous funds. Then there is the State Level funds. Hard for the average joe to figure much of it out, obviously by design.

  9. White America was once raised with the “work ethic”. As a kid, if I wanted something I generally had to make the money first. Many non whites have an entitlement attitude. There is no stewardship in their thinking, if you can call it thinking! They are takers, because they are victims.

  10. Every state is going to pot. Our state is shaking people down for money. We know that “Presidents aren’t elected they’re selected” and I believe that holds true for governors too. Mr. E did several videos on governors. I worked for a local politician once and she enlightened me about elections. She won a local election but her opponent pulled some strings and got her out and him in. She told me that she never knew that things worked that way.

Our taxes keep going up and I’m afraid of not having enough to live on as we’re retired. This is not a good time in America. A family member said that their generation was served a shit sandwich. I agree.

I’m really afraid of what’s happening. I think that they’re going to use ‘Eminent Domain’ to try to get everyone’s property at some point. Or by weather weapons like what they did in NC. They used HAARP because I heard the ungodly scream of HAARP on a video someone took. It’s a scream that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

I wanted to look at the Steve Jackson playing cards to see what’s planned for us. There are some people who are skilled in discernment who break down what the cards have predicted and what’s to come.

        1. If you look at the website can you – or anyone – give their take on what they think and when they believe the banks will steal everyone’s money? I’m trying to keep a step ahead of all that’s happening and it’s hard.

          1. Yes. Or I should have said “Ministry.” Although a number of ministries have been found to be run by 33 degree masons. Just learned Dr. David Jeremiah is one.

We’ve got a tough walk here trying to discern whose legit and whose not.

  11. Welcome to the North American Union. It will eventually involve the entire Western hemisphere. The dollar will be the transaction currency. I look to see Argentina and Chile, as well as Central America, joining as well…..

Trump’s Trade War Boosts Growth Outlook at Mexico Shipping Firms

(Bloomberg) — Oversized flags from three countries dominate Oscar Del Cueto Cuevas’ office in Mexico City: one from the US, another from Mexico and the last from Canada.

For the president of Canadian Pacific Kansas City’s Mexico operations, the flags are a symbol of CPKC’s $31 billion bet on a deeply intertwined North American economy, one that seems to be paying off in the face of President Donald Trump’s tariff war.

In March, as Trump escalated threats of sweeping new duties on Mexican and Canadian imports, Del Cueto was unfazed. “Our position is that we will continue our investments,” he said at the time. “They will not be stopped by this issue.”

One month later, after Trump excluded Mexico from the latest round of retaliatory tariffs, Del Cueto appears to have been proven right — and he’s not the only one.

Rather than pulling back, major logistics and shipping players are doubling down on Mexico. Even with political risks and economic headwinds, the US’ southern neighbor remains a critical link in the North American supply chain.

DHL just finished a $120 million expansion at its Querétaro air hub, according to a company representative, making it the largest DHL Express shipping center in Latin America. CPKC is launching a refrigerated train service to move produce north and protein south. And US freight management firm ECHO Global Logistics Inc. opened new headquarters in Mexico City in March, with plans to double its cross-border shipping volume.

“I think we’ll see more growth in regional trade even though early indications were that this was going to have a negative impact for Mexico and Canada,” Troy Ryley, ECHO’s Mexico president, said in reference to US tariffs. “We’re not slowing down. If anything, the discussions are more about how we can accelerate growth.”

Trump’s return to the tariff lever has rattled global markets, but Mexico is enjoying something of a rare exemption, at least for now. Earlier this month, the US left Mexico and Canada off a new list of retaliatory tariffs hitting imports from most of the world, instead keeping them on a 25% tariff that fully excludes goods traded under the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA. A separate 25% auto tariff remains in place, though it applies only to foreign-made portions of a car shipped under the USMCA.

Markets responded swiftly. The Mexican peso strengthened following the announcement, and Mexico’s stock market surged to its highest level since July. HSBC strategists including Alastair Pinder said in an April 9 note that higher US tariffs elsewhere make Mexico an even more attractive investment destination.

But the growth is tempered by broader challenges. Mexico’s central bank is weighing the possibility of a recession, and under the baseline scenario, it’s predicting the economy will grow a meager 0.6% in 2025.

Prolonged tariff uncertainty hasn’t helped investor sentiment. Some businesses are under pressure from the Mexican government to reduce imports from Asia, while others have scaled back expansion plans due to concerns they could be targeted with new export fees.

Still, companies like DHL say they’re pushing forward. “We’ve got a business to run and we’ve got customers to help with their supply chain. So there’s no time for being pessimistic about tariffs,” DHL Express Chief Executive Officer John Pearson said.

The expanded QuerĂ©taro air hub can now process as many as 41,000 packages an hour and the facility has become a key node in DHL’s regional network, per the company representative.

Pearson previously told Bloomberg that he expects demand for express shipping to grow this year. “Trade is very resilient, and don’t underestimate the creativity of buyers and sellers who want to do business together.”

CPKC is betting big on that resilience. The railway operator plans to invest $240 million in Mexico this year, Del Cueto said, expanding facilities and terminals along its 20,000-mile track through the US, Canada and Mexico. It’s also investing heavily in intermodal transport such as its newly launched Mexico Midwest Express, which offers single-line service connecting Mexico to the US Midwest.

“We just inaugurated the second railway bridge in Nuevo Laredo, which will allow us greater commercial exchange capacity, and the projects we have in Monterrey, in San Luis Potosí, and in the Bajío region continue, so we are not changing our capital investment perspective,” Del Cueto said. “We are betting that the volume of freight movement by rail will grow.”

ECHO is expanding as well. The company is investing $10 million to build out its cross-border trucking operations, including new facilities and technology to speed up freight processing. In the first quarter of 2025, Ryley said ECHO’s Mexico business grew by more than 20% compared to the previous quarter as companies raced to move goods ahead of possible tariff hikes.

“What you’re seeing is USMCA businesses and companies that truly have US-Mexico-Canadian origin materials and parts are going to be at an advantage compared to the majority of the world,” Ryley said. “In general, for everyone who’s focused on North American manufacturing, North American trade, this situation bodes well for continued growth.”

    1. KC is to serve as the north-south hub for bi-modal shipping into, and out of Monterrey/Winnipeg, and the east-west hub for shipping into KC/Chicago, and KC/Edmonton.
This operation, the North American Corridor, will be a 1/4 mile wide, exclusive truck/train corridor operating multiple one way thru lanes in each north/south direction for bi-modal transport, with finished goods moving into Centreport Winnipeg, a 20,000 acre, tri-modal operation, to include over the pole air cargo to Asia/China ports. Winnipeg represents the shortest air route to these ports. Conversely, raw materials will be received into Winnipeg, and moved south within the bi-modal system for development, and assembling.
This will mark the completion of the NAU as a slave state supplier to roughly 6 billion population throughout East Asia/Euro-Asia/China.

    2. The X-Files showed an episode predicting the banks stealing everyone’s money. I’m on edge wondering if I should pull our money out or not. My friend pulled all hers out. Does anyone else worry about this? Where else could you put your money?

      1. To be honest our money is an imaginary concept anyway and isn’t really worth anything. I would also think about it this way – if for some reason everyone’s “money” were to be seized one day I think there would be far greater concern then whether you had put that “money” in a mattress or something. Diversify your assets and sleep easily and do not worry about things so much.

        1. Recently discovered, I was getting poisoned by the synthetic and hybrid fabrics (rayon, polyester, acrylic, spandex, nylon, etc) for clothing, I am a doing an overhaul of my wardrobe, strictly natural fabrics mainly: – Cotton, linen, wool, cashmere, silk, etc. Linen, even angels wore it. That stuff is so comfortable. Then I noticed linen can only grow naturally in European climates, another detail in the Israelite remnant connection!

Now I look at clothes like I look at food ingredients. It is kind of fun to look around. Thrift stores can have those natural fabrics at huge discounts.

          1. Pro tip:

Linen bedsheets, featherbed on top of mattress.

You spend about one third of your life in bed, make it as good as you can.

          2. I’ve gotten rid of most synthetics except for some golf shorts. Everything else is mostly cotton, some linen and wool. I review all personal hygiene and household cleaning products on the Environmental Working Group’s website EWG.org or
            https://www.ewg.org/ewgverified/products.php?models=cosmetic%2Cdiaper&search=&minority_owned=&brand=&category=&sort=newest&type=mens-products
to find safe and organic ingredients and to stay away from the majority of toxic products. I’ve donated through their site because I greatly appreciate the research they’ve done.

        2. I was foolish and let my husband handle the money all these years, but now I’m trying to learn about investing, and all that. What do you mean by diversifying? I have all my money in CD’s, plus we paid off our house, and bought another small house as an investment. It already increased in value although I’m unsure if real estate will continue increasing. Do others think it will? Other than that I don’t know where else to put my money. I know they’re going to do a bank bail-in so I’m looking for other places to park my money. I’m open to any suggestions.

          1. I doubt there will be any bank bail-ins, though I do note that the Federal Reserve is no longer friendly to those in power.

While I am not saying the Fed is being recalcitrant, per se, I do note that their actions during the Trump regime indicate a less amenable ally than during the Biden regime.

So, I suspect the Fed will drag its feet and be less proactive.

For risk aversion, I have been telling the readers for years to stick with gold. BTC as the only crypto. UST money market funds and no CDs. For long term holders I say to own stocks. I own stocks in my tax deferred accounts. All my liquidity is devoted to my property management business.

It’s good you own added real estate with a rental as well as your own domicile.

My only reservation about the so-called “FED put” going forward is that the United States government is reaching its limit and its borrowing capabilities and having the FED as a ready Ally. Last week, Jerome Powell himself stated that he doesn’t know how long this can last.

Why does Powell say this? He knows what I know and what I’ve been telling my readers. Elevated inflationary levels are undermining the QE concept going forward. It remains to be seen what the Fed can conjure up in the future. This adds to the uncertainty, because I have theorized that QE is expiring.

It’s unbelievable how much knowledge I bring to the table. It’s all wasted on the vine. At least I listen to my own advice and haven’t worked for 25 years. I wonder what it’s like to have to listen to a boss. You should see my wife have to deal with her school job. She grinds her teeth to a nub while I wake up every morning trying to figure out what to do to stay busy. She is a victim of social proof who doesn’t take any of my advice. Maybe it’s because I don’t open the bathroom window.

            1. Well they made that bank bail-in legislation for a reason. I don’t know why but buying gold or silver never clicked with me. I think I’m going to look for another small house to rent out. At least it’s a source of income.
