Could this be why things seem to be falling apart so quickly now? Are there powers on this planet that know something? Why are scientists dying or being killed? I don’t have answers, but many observations and questions.
AI is quickly replacing human labor and ingenuity. A small number of people, using AI, can prop up what’s left. We’re not needed anymore. The people who doubt this are in denial.
Nvidia is doing quite well today in the stock market. Its market cap is now $5.1 trillion. It’s the primary chip producer for AI and the firm is making money hand over fist. It’s making the chips that power AI that will replace many of our jobs. In the meantime before some sort of future catastrophe, we can all start accepting our UBI.

An illegal migrant violently raped an incapacitated man behind a dumpster outside a Long Island restaurant, officials and law-enforcement sources told The Post on Monday.
Suspected heinous Honduran national Jose Ignacio Bonilla Garcia, 32, was later nabbed by authorites in the nick of time — as he tried to flee across the border in Texas, authorities said.
Garcia had dragged the drunken, passed-out stranger away from the Esperanza Deli Café in Amityville just before midnight March 27, pulling the victim’s unresponsive body behind a dumpster and raping him, police said Monday — noting that the entire attack was caught on surveillance video.
A man was beaten and raped by an illegal migrant behind a dumpster outside a Long Island eatery, officials said Monday.
The victim regained consciousness at one point during the horrific assault and tried to fight back, prompting Garcia to pick up a large piece of wood and beat him with it until he went limp again, police said.
The rapist then fled, leaving the man for dead, cops said.
The victim wasn’t found until hours later by a delivery driver, who spotted his unconscious body and called 911, according to police.
The wounded man was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and underwent a sex-assault exam, which recovered DNA evidence that pointed to Garcia, officials said without elaborating.
But by the time police had recovered all of the evidence, Garcia was already long gone from the area, hopping on a Greyhound Bus headed to the southern border, authorities said.

US Marshals then tracked him down to Rosenberg, Texas, and took him into custody before extraditing him back to Suffolk County.
“Accountability for perpetrators of sexual violence is not just a legal obligation, but also a moral
one,” Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said in a statement.
“My office will do everything in its power to ensure that those who commit such heinous acts are held accountable, not just for the sake of justice, but to protect others and to send a clear message that these crimes will not be tolerated in Suffolk County.”
Garcia was arraigned Monday on two counts of first-degree rape and one count of second-degree assault and remanded without bail. He faces up to 25 years behind bars if convicted on the top count alone.
He is due back in court May 28.
The Department of Homeland Security has already lodged an immigration detainer to have Garcia deported after his prosecution.

In fact, house prices everywhere else around the world are much more expensive when compared to the United States.
Owning houses in the United States is not exactly one way ticket to wealth. Unfortunately for those living in Europe, investing in single family residences is very difficult. It’s difficult because of the restrictions and the socialist laws. It’s also difficult because the rental yields are going to be lower, usually substantially lower.
It just goes to show how government regulations make everything more expensive. Construction materials are also more expensive in Europe. And in the US, the more blue a tax jurisdiction, the higher the house prices.
If I lived in europe, I would have to look for another investment avenue. SFRs would not make it in Europe.
This goes to show how the people in the United States are cry babies. Everything is cheaper here. Energy is cheaper. Housing is cheaper. Food is cheap. Taxes are less. I’ve always recommended gold, but it doesn’t generate income and the physical is an asset outside the system. There’s nothing wrong with that, but we can’t do much with it. Bitcoin seems to be more of a legitimate asset as time goes on. Charles Schwab will start trading it.
Gold has had a real big run up here from under 2,000 to almost 5,000. To be honest, it’s hard for me to really recommend anything to someone just starting out as the prices for just about every asset has run up so much over the past few years.
I recall very vividly what happened to all asset classes, except gold, during the covid nadir. Other than gold and SFR’s, everything got destroyed in early 2020. I wonder if there will be some sort of watershed event again to fleece the plebs.
I also mention SFR’s, because the asset market collapse during covid was extremely brief and the prices of residential real estate didn’t have a chance to react. Of course, commercial real estate got destroyed almost immediately and has never really recovered.
