A reader asks; How am I preparing (for the end)?

How do you prepare?

Freek

Financial independence

It seems like I’ve been preparing for 25 years. I haven’t relied on a job nor business since 2001. I am a man of the most mediocre of character and talent, so I determined early on that I was going to try to trade and stick any money I had into rental houses.

I learned how to fix up houses, even though I had no prior experience. This skill set has proven invaluable in so many ways. Knowing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other related subjects is vital for us. Instead of being dependent on others, we need to develop a life in which we are dependent on ourselves.

I spend well below my means and drive a 25-year-old pickup truck. I don’t take vacations nor do I eat out at restaurants much at all. I pay cash for everything or pay off my credit cards every month.

Overcoming biases

I don’t look to any politicians. They are either outright enemies or just Judas goats. I don’t follow anyone in particular. I make up my own minds on every decision I make. Since I am married to a Millie Montag, I ultimately have to follow my own path. But I am fully aware of my circumstances, which is half the battle. I guide my marriage accordingly..

In a world of sensory overloads and constant access to continual news, it’s easy to get caught up into the affairs of the day. Our enemies construct a reality that tries to suck us in and get caught up with the trivialities that help to engineer the false dichotomies. I work diligently to avoid these cognitive traps.

Health independence

And I don’t go to the doctors. At 60 years old, and other than suffering from the fallout of a bioweapon, I am in very good health.

I’m in relatively good shape, because I have time to work out regularly at home. I purchased the necessary equipment to perform  a rigorous workout without having to go to a gym.

I eat as well as I can and take a lot of supplements for what I would consider chronic conditions like hypothyroidism, hormone and blood pressure regulation, and blood sugar control. I don’t take any pharmaceuticals for them and can control virtually all of my chronic conditions on my own.

Of course, it takes a lot of up front and ongoing time and effort to want to learn about these matters and it takes the determination to want to implement a plan of action that is independent of the medical system. I have faith that it works, because I’ve been doing it now for almost 30 years. I actually think my philosophy regarding health is less time consuming in the long run than those who drive all over the place looking for answers to medical problems and just chasing their tails.

Lifelong learning

Having this blog has proved beneficial to me as it allows me to articulate my thoughts.

The battle starts from within. Everyone is different, but it ultimately starts from within our minds. I escaped the Catholic cult. I escaped the manifold traps that have been set by the enemies.

With age, I emphasize passive income

What debts I do have are used to generating income for me. My investment activities have primarily involved attempting to enhance my passive income.

It takes a complete sea change. And though I get beat down from time to time and struggle not to become demoralized, I don’t really have the fear anymore. I would suggest overcoming the fear.

I will say this much. If I were like everyone else, I would be living in fear.

  1. It’s my estimation that the tribulation period has already begun. Prepare now. Read the Bible and its related texts. Leave the organized churches.

    1. I’ve taken a hiatus on commenting. Your estimation on the tribulation having started is my estimation as well! The seals of Revelation give us the road map.

      1. Yes, Intel retains majority ownership of Mobileye. Although Intel took Mobileye public through an IPO on the Nasdaq, it still holds the vast majority of the company’s common stock and voting power.

        1. I’m reading that the predictive markets are saying there’s a high probability SpaceX could take out Intel at a close to 1 trillion dollar price. Of course, it’s all chatter.

      2. I posted MBLY on here awhile back. As long as there isn’t a huge dilution pr it should hold up. Cash reserves greater than debt and INTL still runs the show. LIDR and OUST are similar ones to look at. Autonomous within the EV arena is coming into play in a big way.
